Hyper-V R2: Making Highly Available VMs
This video demonstrates the creation of 2 different types of highly available virtual machines, running on a Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V cluster. These include a VM with a regular VHD as it’s storage, and another with a Pass Through Disk. I also highlight some of the key changes that have been made in the Failover Clustering MMC GUI.

Hyper-V Server 2008 R2: Bare Metal to Live Migration (In about an hour!)
In this video, I walk through a bare-metal installation of Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 (RC) on 2 physical nodes, hook them up to an iSCSI SAN, configure the SAN storage, and then, from a Windows 7 (RC) laptop, validate, and build a Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 (RC) Cluster. The end result? A Highly Available, Live Migratable, Virtual Machine! All in about an hour!!
